Rebecca Singer
Rebecca Singer trained as a Stage Manager at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama before going to work at the Unicorn Children’s Theatre as both PA to the Artistic Director and the Children’s Workshop Manager.
From the Unicorn, she moved to the National Theatre where she worked in the Artistic Director’s Office for Sir Peter Hall, Sir Richard Eyre, David Aukin and Howard Davies, before leaving to take up the post of Casting Assistant in the Casting Department at the Royal Shakespeare Company under the Artistic Directorships of first Terry Hands then Adrian Noble. Whilst with the RSC Rebecca worked on casting sessions with such directors as Danny Boyle, Sam Mendes, Matthew Warchus, Phyllida Lloyd, Nicholas Hytner, Katie Mitchell, Max Stafford-Clark, David Leveaux and David Thacker.
In 1993 Rebecca joined the Richard Stone Partnership to work with Meg Poole and remained with Meg until her retirement in 2016 when Rebecca set up Rebecca Singer Management.
