Leighton returned from the final leg of the US tour of The Lehman Trilogy at the start of July, and since then has been reading audio books for Penguin Random House and ID Audio. He returns to The Lehman Trilogy at the end of September when it starts its limited run at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. Performances run from 28th September until 4th January 2025.
